Meet the Regional Judges
Xiaonan Liu
Professor, China University of Political Science and Law
Xiaonan Liu is a professor at the Institute for Human Rights and the Director of the Constitutionalism Research Institute at China University of Political Science and Law where she teaches anti-discrimination law, gender and human rights. She holds an LLM from Yale Law School, as well as an LLB, Master of Law and PhD from Jilin University School of Law in China.
Lu Haina
Associate Professor of the China Law School of Renmin University & Executive Director of the China Human Rights Center of Renmin University
Dr. Lu Haina, Ph.D. from the Catholic University of Leuven of Belgium, is the associate professor of the China Law School of Renmin University. She is also the executive director of the China Human Rights Center of Renmin University, which is the National Base of the Ministry of Education for Human Rights Education and Training. Dr. Lu is a member of the Human Rights Lawyers’ Network of the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific. Her research is focused on international human rights law, employment discrimination, women’s rights, LGBTI rights.
Ma Chao
Deputy Division Chief, International Cooperation Division, Employers Department, China Enterprise Confederation
Ma Chao, Senior economist, master's degree in economics, and deputy director of the International Cooperation Department of the Employers' Work Department of China Enterprise Federation(CEC). He is responsible for international cooperation projects with ILO, IOE, UNDP,UNAIDS and other organizations, also with National Employers Organizations from Norway, Viet Nam and Indonesia,etc. He has fruitful experiences in the fields labor relations, collective bargaining, OSH, CSR, gender equality, elimination of AIDS in the workplace, PWDs employment, youth employment, employee engagement and leadership.
